Pacific Institute has more than 200 employees working at six major centers and a number of project offices around the country and the world. Senior Staff at the Institute serve as principal investigators, research scientists, evaluators, and project directors. They are supported by seasoned research and program associates; research assistants; and finance, information technology, and administrative staff.
The collective experience of the staff of Pacific Institute includes extensive work in health and the social sciences: anthropology, child and adolescent health and development, communications, criminology, economics, education, law, mathematics, political science, psychology, public health, sociology, and systems analysis.
The executive and central business offices are located at PIRE Headquarters in Calverton, MD, and provide financial and administrative support to scientists and practitioners across the Institute. They assist in meeting all state and federal requirements for financial, personnel, and administrative management of Institute initiatives. A sophisticated financial tracking system allows investigators to maximize resources while completing projects within allotted budgets and timeframes.
